hello everyone
do not fret, i have not died. i have just been extremely busy.

within the past month, i have been on staff at the most awesome teen camp up on sacramento california, i have gone to the beach and said goodbye to good friends, i have packed up my room and shoved my life into a box, and i have taken a few photos here and there.

i dont plan on leaving deviant art any time soon, though i have taken a much needed hiatus to refresh my mind, body and spirit and i'm ready to get funky again!

obviously, moving to california is going to be tough, and i'll be leaving my beachy scene behind, but i'm really excited to see what else i can come up with. notice the slightly more urban feel to my most recent submissions. i'll see where it takes me

i was thinking of doing a short documentary of a day in the life of me in hawai'i. you can get to know me a little better.  i think i'll choose a more exciting day later on



now that my graduation party is finally over, i have some extra time for more creativity. the party went very well i think.  even though it was a really fancy place and it ended up looking like a wedding, it was fun none the less.

coming out of high school, i was planning on spending my entire summer at the beach with my friends because we're all going to go off on our separate ways pretty soon when we leave for college.  however it hasn't worked out that way.  
the first part of summer, i wasn't able to go swimming because i had minor surgery and i barely could move.
just a while ago, i went to get an industrial in my ear, so i can't go swimming for even more.

but dont worry, i've been having a blast on dry land hawai'i is a lot more than just beach.  so i borrowed this excellent projector and screen from my friend for my grad party and i still haven't returned it. tonight, it's movie night/sleepover at my house!!!!

at the end of july, im going to head up to norther cali in the hills of sacramento to volunteer staff another summer camp! im so excited; it's one of my most favorite places on earth and i always look foward to it each year.

right after that im heading off to college for my freshman year at Pomona!!! tough school, but i know i'll have a ton of fun and i can't wait to go. but i still fear the day when i have to say bye to my family, friends, and beloved hawai'i.

i have to appologize for not having submitted very much recently.  along with graduation, finals, and a little recovery from the hospital, i haven't had a lot of inspiration, much less time to have a few photohunts.  i hope you like what i have in store for summer . if it's summer for you, have a great one!
